2019 REDBUD MOTOCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

A four-week run of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship wrapped up with one of the most iconic events of the summer schedule, the 2019 RedBud Motocross. The Michigan venue is praised by riders its layout and soil, two things that make up for the heat and humidity that the Midwest feels in the summer months. With the series starting to wind down, it was critical for championship contenders to finish at the front of the field and the usual names were again at the top of the result sheet. But that’s not to say their day was without issue, as you’ll hear almost everyone experienced some sort of setback during the four motos. After the race was over, we hit the pits and caught up with race winners Eli Tomac and Dylan Ferrandis, plus Adam Cianciarulo, Jason Anderson, Ken Roczen, RJ Hampshire, and Alex Martin for quick, informative interviews. Three of the key things to hear: Cianciarulo’s view on the penalty handed down by the AMA for his off-track excursion in the opening lap of 250 Moto One, Roczen explained that his sudden slow pace in 450 Moto One was because he was throwing up inside his helmet, and Martin on his DNF in 250 Moto One to his solid result in 250 Moto Two.
