2019 WASHOUGAL MOTOCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE
Wow. The ninth round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship did not disappoint and all four motos at the 2019 Washougal Motocross will be talked about for weeks, if not months, to come. Riders with hopes of the titles needed to score as many points as possible but knew that pushing too hard on the slick and tricky terrain of the Washington track could put them on the ground and make it all for naught. Dylan Ferrandis and Eli Tomac were the dominant riders on the day, as both went 1-1 for the overall wins and full 50 points in their respective classes. For Ferrandis, every race from here to the end is a must-win if he wants to close in on championship leader Adam Cianciarulo, a rider that went all-out in the final laps of Moto Two in an attempt to snatch away the win. For Tomac, the day’s sweep helped him put even more distance between himself and the others in the class, but he had to battle with Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin for the positions. At the end of the day, we tracked down all six podium finishers to talk about the track, the battles, and the outlook for the final three races.
