2021 ATLANTA TWO SUPERCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

Tuesday night racing rules. A few days ago, it seemed like the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross Series was close to decided, but the 2021 Atlanta Two Supercross reminded us anything can happen when the gate drops. A nasty crash by Cameron McAdoo forced a restart in the 250 Main Event. After being cleared by the medical staff and race officials, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider rejoined the race and gritted out a podium finish. At the same time, Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Justin Cooper scored the win and padded his point lead in the 250 West Coast Region championship.

Ken Roczen controlled the 450 Main Event from start to finish, a much-needed dominant performance by the Team Honda HRC rider. Roczen’s result got boosted by Cooper Webb’s race-long fight to stay in the top-five and a small crash in the closing laps. With these results, the difference between the two riders in the championship is now 13 points.
