Thousands of amateur motocross racers from around the world met up at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch for the 2022 AMA Amateur Motocross National Championship. The week Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, gave us a glimpse at the sport’s next generation, as young prodigies went through their share of highs and lows during the three motos. We grabbed time with a few of the top finishers on Saturday afternoon, including surprise Open Pro Sport champion Cole Martinez, front-runner Heath Harrison, soon-to-be pros Talon Hawkins and Chance Hymas, and two-time WMX winner Sophia Phelps.
