CHECK OUT OUR COMPLETE COVERAGE OF THE 2022 MINNEAPOLIS SUPERCROSS

The next part of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Championship begins this weekend with the 2022 Minneapolis Supercross, round seven of the season, and the start of the 250 East Region.

The championship standings, a 24-point gap between the top five, developed over the six weeks spent racing in California and Arizona. Some riders excelled on the hardpack and clicked off podium finishes, while others struggled with bike setup or personal issues early in the season. Now is when the real test starts, and everyone is anxious to see if the change in scenery-terrain brings a shift to the running order.

Although Minneapolis is just another race for the 450 Class, it’s the kickoff for the 250 East Region, a nine-race run that will end with a first-time champion. Winning the 1E won’t be easy, as the field for the small-bore class will be a mix of experienced contenders and young hopefuls.
