CHECK OUT OUR COMPLETE COVERAGE OF THE 2022 SEATTLE SUPERCROSS

The 2022 Monster Energy Supercross series has arrived in Seattle, as round twelve of the series is officially here. Riders spent Saturday morning learning the track that fills the center of Luman Field, and to no surprise, the lap times are incredibly close. The front-runners in the 250 West Coast and 450 Class were split by just fractions of a second on the qualifying sheets, building the anticipation for tonight’s gate drops even more!

Here’s a look at the fastest lap times and results…

Michael Mosiman seems to have used the break from racing to his advantage, as he came out swinging in Seattle. The Troy Lee Designs/RedBull/GasGas rider logged the fastest time of both the 250’s and the 450 class. Michael was the only rider to dip inside the 47’s in the 250 West Coast field with his 47.815.

250 West Coast championship points-leader Christian Craig was just behind, as his 48.193 was just a few hundredths off of the fastest time recorded.

Next on the leaderboards in 250 West Coast timed-qualifying was Garrett Marchbanks. The Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX rider logged a 48.280, which was just three tenths faster than Hunter Lawrence’s time.

Malcolm Stewart showed his speed this morning in timed-qualifying, as he jumped to the top of the leaderboards with a blistering fast 47.915. With that, the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider was the only rider in his class to dip into the 47’s.

RedBull KTM’s Marvin Musquin was next in line on the results sheet, as his 48.015 was just a thousandth off of the fastest time logged by Malcolm.

450 Class championship points-leader Eli Tomac was third in timed-qualifying and not far off of Marvin’s pace, with a 48.017 as his best time logged.

Chase Sexton had a scary crash in the final session of qualifying, but did remount and finish the laps.
