The 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Series is back in Texas, as the tour has landed in Arlington. The fastest riders in the world spent Saturday afternoon learning the track that fills the floor of AT&T Stadium, and to no surprise, the lap times are incredibly close. Just fractions of a second split the front-runners in the 250 East Coast and 450 Class on the qualifying sheets, which ratcheted up the anticipation for tonight’s triple crown event even more.

Here’s a look at the fastest lap times and results…

After qualifying fastest overall, Hunter Lawrence will have first gate pick in tonight’s opening 250SX Main Event. The current East Coast region championship points leader logged a blistering fast 46.747 in the final session of qualifying, nearly half-a-second faster than the next fastest lap time.

Nate Thrasher was looking solid all morning in Arlington, as the Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha rider laid down the next best lap time in 250SX timed-qualifying. Thrasher’s 47.145 will reward him with second gate pick in tonights first Main Event.

After improving in the final session of riding, Max Anstie was the next name on the time sheets. His 47.251 landed him in third place in overall 250SX timed-qualifying.

250 LCQ

Henry Miller made passes on both Hardy Munoz and Brock Papi to take the LCQ win. Though, both Munoz and Papi made it into the night show with their second and third place results. Talon Hawkins took the final transfer position to secure his spot in the triple crown.

Jason Anderson improved on his lap time in the second session of timed-qualifying, as he logged the fastest overall lap time late in the final session of riding. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider’s 46.280 rewarded him with first gate pick for tonights opening 450SX Main Event.

Ken Roczen made some bike adjustments in the final session of riding and ended timed-qualifying in second place on the time sheets. Ken’s 46.335 will give him second gate pick for the first 450SX Main Event.

Chase Sexton nearly matched his fastest lap time from the first timed-qualifying session multiple times, but was unable to better the time and landed in third place overall on the time sheets with his 46.339.

450 LCQ

Kyle Chisholm passed Kevin Moranz and took the LCQ victory. While, Logan Karnow held off Justin Starling, who had a mistake on the opening lap, for third place. Justin Starling fended off a late-race challenge from Chase Marquier and secured the final transfer position into the night show.
