InFront Moto Racing has announced the riders and teams participating in the 2023 Monster Energy FIM Motocross World Championship, with commitments from twenty-nine organizations and eight manufacturers.

Here’s how the paddock will look during the eight-month, twenty-round international tour.

GASGAS Factory Racing program will field the same three riders for another year, with Simon Lagenfelder in MX2 and Mattia Guadagnini alongside Jorge Prado in MXGP.

With two-time MX2 champion Tom Vialle now in America and Prado under the GASGAS banner, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing is looking for its next star. They’ll have three promising young riders on orange bikes in 2023, as Andrea Adamo, Liam Everts, and Sacha Coenen will race in the MX2 class. Jeffrey Herlings will return to action after missing all of 2022 due to injury, and the multi-time champion will be the team’s only entry in the MXGP class. The administrative division of the operation has undergone changes, too, with Antonio Cairoli now serving as Team Manager, Dirk Gruebel as Project Manager for Motocross Development, Claudio De Carli as Race Director for KTM, and Harry Norton as Team Technical Coordinator.

Husqvarna will have three factory-supported riders in the MX2 class through the Neestan team of Kay De Wolf, Roan Van De Moosdijk, and Lucas Coenen but will not compete in the MXGP category in 2023. Budget cuts were cited as the reason for the brand’s severed ties to the Standing Construct operation.

The Tim Mathys-led team will continue despite the sudden severance, as Brian Bogers and Pauls Jonass are set to compete in the MXGP division with support from Honda.

Ruben Fernandez has been promoted by Honda and will join multi-time and reigning champion Tim Gajser at Team HRC.

Mitch Evans will be alongside former champion Romain Febvre at Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP. ICEOne Racing will continue to operate as the green team’s factory effort.

EMX champion Rick Elzinga will move to the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 team, with Jago Geerts and Thibault Benistant also on the black and blue bikes.

Alessandro Lupino and Ben Watson will run the MRT Racing Team Beta’s red bikes in the MXGP division.
