2023 OAKLAND SUPERCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

The Monster Energy Supercross Championship has ventured back to the Bay Area for the 2023 Oakland Supercross, a race that was rescheduled due to the heavy rains that hammered the area in January. The later date and distance between rounds (Tampa-Oakland-Arlington) is apparent on the sign-up sheet, with some opting out of the cross-country trip, but every factory team and most elite independent riders are committed to Saturday’s race at RingCentral Coliseum, which will also feature the 250 West Coast Region.

Here are the provisional entry lists and brief injury reports for round two/six.


250 CLASS | WEST COAST REGION

18. Jett Lawrence | The Team Honda HRC rider leads the championship after three rounds.

MISSING FROM THE LIST

52. Carson Mumford | Mumford missed the first part of the West Coast region due to a broken wrist and will miss Oakland with a leg injury. He will return to action as a fill-in rider for Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki at the Seattle race in March. 

55. Austin Forkner | The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider will miss the rest of the West Coast region due to the multiple ligament tears in the knee and the broken hand he from a crash at the opening round.

93. Jerry Robin | The Overstock Vehicles/AJE Motorsports/GASGAS rider is dealing with a bent plate and screws in his hand and will sit out Oakland.

260. Dylan Woodcock | The British privateer did not plan to complete the 250 West Coast Region and has returned to the UK.


450 CLASS

1. Eli Tomac | The Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha rider leads the championship after five rounds.

27. Malcolm Stewart | The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider is out for the remainder of Supercross after a practice crash that hyperextended his knee and required surgery.

140. Alex Ray | The SML/O’Neal/Maxxis/Yamaha rider will miss a handful of races due to a broken thumb from a crash in Tampa.
