2024 BUDDS CREEK MOTOCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

Summer is almost over, and today’s running of the Budds Creek Motocross will be the next to last round of the 2024 Pro Motocross Championship. The Beasly family’s facility has been a fixture on the schedule for three decades. This will be the 34th time that small-bore bikes have raced in the Maryland valley, but only the 30th time for the premier class.

We’re in for a warm weekend, with temperatures expected to be near the high 80s, a heat index fueled by the DMV’s distinctive humidity, and cloudy skies that slightly increase the chance of rain around mid-day.

Even with the big news of riders like Tomac and Hampshire returning to action from injury and the overall popularity of the track, the AMA entry lists did not max out, as there are 83 riders signed up for the 450 Class and 85 for the 250 Class.
