Round six of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship is officially underway in Glendale, Arizona, as this morning’s timed qualifying sessions just wrapped up. Riders took to the well-prepped course that fills State Farm Stadium just a few moments ago for their practice sessions. Just hundredths of a second split the front-runners in both the 250SX West and 450SX classes. Here’s a look at the fastest qualifiers and some information on how their qualifying sessions went in Glendale!

Jason Anderson improved on his lap time throughout the morning and was the man to beat in Timed-Qualifying. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider laid down a blistering fast 1:03.400 in the final session of practice.

Jett Lawrence was next on the time sheets, as he ended up in second place overall after having the fastest lap time in the first timed session of qualifying. The Team Honda HRC rider’s 1:03.734 in the final session was his best lap time of the morning.

Eli Tomac was looking for redemption in Glendale, as he landed the third best lap time in timed-qualifying. The Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha racer logged a 1:03.856 in his final session of practice.

Prior to free practice, Chase Sexton and RedBull KTM Factory Racing announced that Chase went down hard early in the week and is nursing a hand injury. Though, Chase wasn’t too far off in practice and landed the eighth best lap time.

The red-plates were exchanging positions on the leaderboard throughout the morning, but Jordon Smith ultimately logged the fastest lap time in the 250SX class. The Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha rider laid down a 1:04.747 late in the final session of qualifying.

The other points-leader, Levi Kitchen, was just behind on the time sheets. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki racer logged a 1:05.157 to secure second place.

Rj Hampshire laid down a heater late in the final session of timed-qualifying to shuffle Julein Beaumer back to fourth place. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna racer’s best lap time was a 1:05.566.
