2019 IRONMAN MOTOCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

At long last, Adam Cianciarulo is a champion in professional motocross. Dubbed the “Can’t Miss Kid” during the peak of his amateur career, the likable guy from Florida has faced his share of setbacks and adversity since turning pro and winning his first-ever 250 Supercross Main Event. Two shoulder injuries, torn ligaments in his knee, and that not too bad but bike destroying crash at the Las Vegas Supercross had prevented the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider from having the success that so many expected of him, but all of it came together over the course of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. For the first time in his career, Cianciarulo logged consistent podium finishes through every moto, avoided any sort of misstep, and earned the necessary points to clinch the 2019 250 MX National Championship just before he moves to the 450 class in 2020 with Monster Energy Kawasaki. At the end of the 2019 Ironman Motocross, we grabbed a few moments with AC to recap the day and season, then watched as he and Mitch Payton put the number one plate on the door of the team trailer.
