As always, the Battle of Atlanta proved to be a barnburner and aside from Honda HRC’s Ken Roczen running away with his third win of the season, the action behind the leader was amazing with some aggressive passes and gritty performances. Monster Energy Yamaha’s Justin Barcia overcame a terrible start to return to the podium while defending Supercross Champion Cooper Webb shocked everyone by fighting to third place in extreme pain after his horrific crash last weekend in Arlington. In the 250 class, Chase Sexton earned his second win of the season and took sole possession of the red plate, leading RJ Hampshire and title rival Shane McElrath home in third.
