Behind the Scenes | Dean Wilson Jumps Dan Bilzerian’s Pool

Welcome to the motocross and Supercross off-season! With no racing this weekend, we dove into our hard drives to see what unused footage we might find and BINGO; we found a gem! Back in January, Dean Wilson invited us to join him in Belair as he filmed a video to promote his new sponsor, Ignite CBD. Owned by millionaire playboy Dan Bilzerian, Ignite CBD gained a ton of attention from Supercross fans when NBC TV regulations required Deano to blackout all of their logos on his bike and riding gear.
One of the great things about Wilson is his personality and sense of humor, and the video he and his crew produced this day was awesome and it wracked up over a half-million views. Still a privateer when this video was filmed, Wilson joked, “If I had a boss right now, he would probably tell me I am stupid.”
Of course, the video footage doesn’t do Wilson’s stunt justice, as he made it look much simpler than it actually was. In addition to clearing the swimming pool, Deano had to make sure he didn’t land on a glass skylight area of the rooftop patio, and also come to a stop within feet of landing so that he didn’t fly off the roof of the mansion. How hard was the landing? The front wheel of his Husky blew out nearly a dozen spokes!
