Big Announcement for Mini Racers in 2024

The Mini Monsters (formerly Mini Majors) by SEVEN is set to kick off its 9th annual year for this youth only event in 2024 and we are taking steps to make the event bigger and better than ever before!
What started in California as an experiment that catered to just the kids classes has grown to a multi-state series with thousands of riders participating annually. Because of the class structure and deep multi moto discounts youth riders get more class options and more laps on the race weekend. It gives the youth riders a unique opportunity to stand out and shine amongst their peers.
We wanted to shake things up a bit in this 9th year running so we polled tons of riders, sponsors and manufactures to see what they had to say about the event and ways for us to improve. After listening to everyone we came up with a few big changes for 2024 that we are sure you will be excited about!
We are honored to be partnering with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and they will be sanctioning all 2024 Mini Monster events with the original version of the series in California at the World Famous Glen Helen Raceway Feb 16-18, 2024 being a Featured Event with the AMA. This means adopting the AMA rulebook and having a clear and familiar structure as riders move up through the ranks of racing. Riders will be competing for the coveted official number one plate’s that every rider wants on their resume typically awarded at larger AMA Nationals throughout the racing season.

Since we have been running nine years now there are riders that grew up with the Mini Monsters events and have fond memories about participating. Kids that started at 6 years old are now 15 and many have moved on from the mini bikes to big bikes. Some have even moved into the pro ranks! Because of that longevity we are adding a few classes to the schedule this year.

Beyond bringing back some kids who have aged out we are also excited for a little relief in the race schedule. Riders choosing to do more classes will have less of a chance of back to back or one gap motos!

The Mini Monsters has also become popular for its off track activities after the motos. We will continue to host our one of a kind Father & Son Race, STACYC GROMCROSS, pit bike race and look forward to even more activities throughout the series. Expect to see a packed vendor village and great rider support at every stop. So far we are confirmed on the calendar for our first AMA Featured Event at Glen Helen Presidents weekend February 16-18, 2024 and then AMA sanctioned events at Monster Mountain in Alabama September 6-8, 2024 and Lincoln Trail in Illinois October 11-13, 2024. We are currently in discussions to add more to the calendar in 2024 so stay tuned.
