CHECKING IN WITH

Checking in With Thor Drake of See See Motor Co.

Presented by Yamaha

No trip to Portland would be complete without a stop at SeeSee Motor Coffee Co. The espresso bar meets parts counter has become a fixture of the PDX motorcycle scene over the last twelve years through events like the One Show, multiple cafe locations (the original location on a corner of NE Sandy Blvd, newer shops on N Lombard St in St. Johns and 101 East 1st St. in Newberg), and owner Thor Drake’s genuine appreciation for bikes.

We’ve known Drake for a few years and saw how See See went from being a creative Portland space to an influencer for the entire motorcycle industry, including projects with Fox Racing and a short-lived KTM dealership. We happened to catch Thor during a recent visit to the city and chatted for a few minutes about the recent boom in bikes, the ups and downs of running the brand, and how he’s still hands-on in the day-to-day.
