Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Colt Nichols suffered some bad luck at MX 338, but even after an off weekend in what has otherwise been a great season for the Oklahoma native, he agreed to join us to bench race and fill us in about his program on today’s installment of the 6D Helmets Kickstart Podcast. Nichols was a solid fifth in the first moto at Southwick, but a lap-one crash in the second left him scrambling to come from behind. Nichols’ charge from 37th to 11th was nothing short of spectacular, and he tells us all about it in today’s show. swap is on a boat somewhere in Mexico this week, so Michael Antonovich takes over as host, with Chase Curtis assisting as today’s co-host.
