He’s back! After deactivating his social media accounts during the offseason, Dean Wilson returned to the ‘gram at the start of the new year and with a big announcement. No, it’s not that he’s racing Anaheim One; that’s the plan, per a post a few weeks ago. Instead, the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider announced the winner of the contest he started just a few weeks ago, which awarded one lucky kid with a brand-new Husqvarna TC 65, plus goods from Wilson’s sponsors.
Bought at AEO Powersports in Southern California, Wilson tricked out the little machine with parts from FMF, ProTaper, Factory Effex, and GUTS Racing, then loaded up a gear bag with new threads from O’Neal Racing, 100%, and Alpinestars. Check out the final video from Wilson’s YouTube, which explains how he picked the deserving kid from Hesperia (he races the Swapmoto Race Series!), the surprise delivery of the bike, a day of riding, and a visit with one of his heroes.
