Guy Riding in a Cracked Helmet for 2 Years Gifted a New Z1R Helmet!

Presented by Z1R Helmets

Riding motocross is dangerous enough, but riding for a couple of years with a crash-damaged helmet is just rolling the dice. Helmets are designed to protect your head and brain from injury through one serious impact. We met Dustin Watts at Perris Raceway last weekend and he’s been riding for two years in a helmet he was knocked out cold in. In addition to the EPS liner being compromised in the crash, the shell was also gouged and cracked in a couple of areas. Luckily, we had some Z1R F.I. Mips helmets in a full range of sizes in the SML Sprinter Van, so we were able to upgrade Dustin’s lid and help keep him safer! Thanks to Z1R Helmets for helping us pay it forward in our own small way.
