The 2019 All Japan MX National Championship resumed this weekend at Off-Road Village, just outside of Tokyo, Japan, and our man on the scene Toru Matsunaga sent us some images and results from the event. Kawasaki’s Makoto Ogata emerged with the overall win in the IA1 class over Yamaha rider Yu Hoshino, but the big news of the weekend was defending champion Akira Narita’s 5-1 finishes for third as he also took over the championship points lead. Round one winner Kei Yamamoto was sixth overall and now trails Narita by one point, 83-82.
