Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana plays host to the ninth round of Monster Energy Supercross this weekend.

This weekend marks the 18th time Monster Energy Supercross has raced inside Lucas Oil Stadium. But it is the 35th time Supercross has invaded Indianapolis dating back to a further 17 races held at the old RCA Dome. Jeremy McGrath is the winningest rider at Indianapolis with six victories, while Ken Roczen leads active riders in wins at Indy with four.

Indianapolis is also the St. Jude Love Moro Stop Cancer race and teams and riders have a lot of special decals and gear sets this weekend so stay tuned over at swapmotolive.com to see more!

For the first time in Supercross history, we are having three East/West Showdowns in 2025 and the first one commences this weekend. Haiden Deegan currently leads 250 West with a blank points lead over Julien Beaumer while Max Anstie sits atop 250 East by six points over Tom Vialle. Each heat race tomorrow will be its own coast before everything gets combined for the LCQ and Main Event tomorrow night. This could be a big opportunity for some riders looking to gain points in the championship as putting some opposite coast riders between yourself and your total rivals could equal big points.

We caught up with several of the top 250 contenders today on press day to get their thoughts on the upcoming Showdown.
