Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Jo Shimoda is enjoying a great season by all standards. In addition to earning his first 250 Supercross victory a few months ago, the rider from Suzuka, Japan, earned his first 250 National MX podium last weekend at MX 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts. In what was his first time on the legendary sandy race track, Shimoda put his trademark smooth riding style to great use and earned second overall aboard his Kawasaki KX250. We caught up with Jo last night after his light day of training in Menifee, CA.
