Since he made his pro debut with GEICO Honda in 2020, Jo Shimoda has quietly been turning in solid results in both Supercross and Motocross. Soft-spoken and even a little shy, the kid from Suzuka, Japan, let his riding do the talking out on the track. This past weekend in Salt Lake City, Shimoda’s years of hard work paid off in a big way when he because the first Japanese rider to win an AMA Supercross, and he did it in impressive fashion, fending off attacks from competitors throughout the race. We caught up with Jo-san on today’s O’Neal Supercross Quarantine Show.
