Just before Joey Savatgy rode onto the track for the Friday press session at the 2019 Paris Supercross, he put pen to paper on a contract to race the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Series and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with the JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team. Savatgy has spent the last few weeks with the crew in North Carolina, but until today’s deal was confirmed, their agreement was only for the three international events that the rider had signed on for. As soon as the deal was done, we sat down with Savatgy and discussed how it feels to have a factory spot for his second year in the 450 class.
