It’s been several years since Josh Hansen was a full-time racer, but that hasn’t hurt the second-generation rider’s popularity one bit. Now in his 30s, Lil Hanny is loving life, riding his Honda dirt bike and raising a beautiful young daughter the best way he knows how. It took some effort, but we finally got Hansen to stop by for a chat in the Swapmoto Live Studios, and it was well worth the wait. Enjoy this week’s show!

It would be so frigging awesome to see Hanny back on the track racing Monster Energy Cup!! Rolling up on the Goldwing Chopper with Weston Peick in a sidecar, and the race bike in the trailer. Recruit JLaw to join the team, all black bikes, gear, Team ZFG (zero f*cks given) show up, teach these kids how to ride with some style, lay the smack down, let Peick slap a few of these snowflakes around, take their lunch money and dip. I will gladly be the first sponsor, volunteer to be the bike washer, chain luber, hype man, anything! Who, besides the competition, doesn’t want to see this happen? I’ve been listening to all of your podcasts on my way to work lately (An hour drive one way), and enjoy all of them. I love hearing the inside scoop from the riders, and their stories and takes on situations or rumors. I watched the Hanny podcast today and loved your story about him leaving during the video shoot. Lol
All of these 1 on 1 interviews with riders are my favourite thing on here. It’s made me become a fan of so many riders I wasn’t huge on before listening! Plus they help get through my long shifts at work. Thanks swap!

I would like to see more interviews that dive deeper into the person individually. Like what influences how they dress, what was their favorite gear ever, what’s their favorite song, stuff like that. We hear a lot of the same answers from people, we gotta find a way to see more of themselves as a person. Other than that, thanks for making us die hard fans feel like we are a part of the Moto community even though we may love miles away from California
