Ever have a bucket list item that you didn’t realize that you had? Well, I did! Though I’ve been to Red Bud Track N Trail several times to cover races and work in the past, I never really had any desire to ride there, mostly because of my disdain for out-of-town bike tests. Who wants to get hurt far away from home? I certainly don’t. Let’s just say that from my second corner on the track at the 2023 KTM intro, I forgot all about any fear of negative thoughts. I had the time of my life riding around the hallowed grounds of the Ritchey family track, and I think I may have found a new all-time favorite track. Coming home to more days of moto fun at the TransAm Vet Classic rounded out one of the best all-moto weeks ever!
