I’m not gonna lie; I’ve been really out of it ever since my best buddy Scrub Daddy crashed his brains out at Cahuilla Creek and almost died. Almost losing my friend put a downer on my overall enthusiasm for riding Moto, but he continues improving each day, each week, and each month. Last weekend, he showed up at Cahuilla Creek and was much better than I’d ever seen him, and it felt just like old times as we clowned each other. He’s not 100% yet, but there was a glimmer of his old self when he wished to be back riding again some day… Life is good, man.
