Not a lot of riding in this week’s vlog as I absolutely ate crap on my sighting lap at Glen Helen after hitting a slippery spot on the downhill while trying to stay out of the main line. It was the craziest thing – I slapped the side of my head on the ground so hard that I had ringing in my ear and a complete loss of balance. I don’t think I had a concussion per se, as I had no loss of memory and didn’t repeat myself over and over as I have in previous concussion incidents. Later that day I went on to film an SML Show and visit a sweet mountain bike shop in Temecula, and the next couple of days were spent helping Nico Izzi at the Red Bull Straight Rhythm.
