Rock River Yamaha’s Marshal Weltin earned a well-deserved fifth place in yesterday’s inaugural Stopwatch Nationals at Glen Helen Raceway and went home with $625 in his wallet…not a bad Thursday afternoon payday for a privateer racer competing aboard a near-stock Yamaha YZ450F. We caught up with Weltin at the day’s end to talk about his 2024 Supercross season, the upcoming MX Nationals, and privateer life in general.
