In a surprise move, Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin decided this week to throw his hat into the ring at tomorrow’s Fox Raceway Two 250 National. Slated to race the MX2 class at the Motocross of Nations for Team France alongside Dylan Ferrandis (MX3) and Maxime Renauzx (MX1), Musquin had begun his training on the small-bore machine a few weeks ago and has been spotted in SoCal setting a blistering pace aboard the KTM 250 SX-F. It wasn’t until his trainer David Vuillemin suggested that the best way to prepare for racing the 250 at Red Bud would be to get a gate drop on one at Fox Raceway, that Musquin actually considered the idea. Red Bull KTM’s Richard Sterling actually let the news slip on Instagram this morning that MM would be racing tomorrow, so we headed to Corona, California, to get the news directly from Muquin himself for this installment of the Fly Racing SML Newsbreak.
