The 2020 MFJ All Japan National Championship MX Series kicks off this weekend at Sugo Sportsland in Sugo, Japan. Like the Lucas Oil Motocross Nationals, the Japanese series was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Honda HRC’s Kei Yamamoto and Kawasaki’s Haruki Yokoyama – the IA1 and IA2 Champions, respectively – will begin their title defenses. All eyes will be on 40-year-old Akira Narita, though, as he makes a bid for his 13th premier-class championship aboard a privateer Honda CRF450R under the Honda Dream/N.R.T. banner. The MFJ has a line feed channel on YouTube, and coverage begins at 10:00 p.m. Pacific.
