Presented by O’Neal

A few months before the start of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross Series, 18-year-old Nate Thrasher wasn’t even sure if he would race Supercross. The Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha team, however, made the decision that he was ready and sent him to the Mini Olympics in Florida to earn his eligibility points. The first few rounds of the Western Region 250 Supercross Championship didn’t go as planned for the Tennessee native, but after making some changes to his riding technique during the three-week break the series just had, Thrasher came. to Atlanta Motor Speedway certain that he would land on the podium. What he didn’t expect, though, was to dominate the way he did and land on the top step! Thrasher joined us for this week’s O’Neal Supercross Quarantine Show to talk about the preparation, emotions, and overall experience associated with his first win.
