2021 Supercross Quarantine Show THEATER

Shane McElrath on the Supercross Quarantine Show

Share

Presented by O’Neal

A separated shoulder suffered in the off-season saw the 450-class debut of SmarTop/Bullfrog Spas/Honda rider Shane McElrath delayed until last weekend in Orlando, Florida. The SoCal transplant opened a lot of eyes by grabbing the holeshot in his first-ever 450 heat race and leading much of it only to finish an eventual second to defending champion Eli Tomac.  In the main, McElrath didn’t fare as well with a 17th, but he is excited and hopeful about how his 450 SX career will unfold. We caught up with him this afternoon to talk about his first race in the big show.
