What’s the MX scene like in other areas? Although SML is based in the epicenter of SoCal, we always hear about the best tracks and trails that are scattered throughout the country. With the 2021 riding season quickly approaching, we’re eager to see and spin laps on the tracks that locals in the area rave about. Have a recommendation? First up on the list is Archview MX Park in Washington Park, Illinois. Located minutes away from downtown St. Louis, the track has been a staple of the Midwest for over 17 years and is known for rich, dark dirt and rutted conditions. The facility is managed by Paul Willis, a lifelong MX rider and powersports dealership employee, and will host an AMA Pro-Am event on Sunday, March 7. Can’t make it for the race? Archview will host a number of races and open practice days in 2021.
