Spotlight on the New Scott Fury Goggle

Without much publicity or hype, Scott quietly brought a new mid-level motocross goggle to market that is based on the wildly popular high-end Prospect Goggle. The Fury Goggle is jam-packed with great features for both performance and safety that make it an amazing value for only $49.95 with a clear lens. (For $69.95, the Fury comes with a mirrored lens, and a spare clear lens) The Fury utilizes the same 1mm thick oversized lens as the Prospect, as well as the important lens lock system that secures the lens in the frame with four solid pins to make it virtually impossible for the lens to be dislodged by roost or impact. The inner profile of the Fury is scaled down slightly from the Prospect, which allows it to fit better inside smaller-sized helmets while maintaining the same massive field-of-vision. Triple-layer face foam and a flexible frame allow for a perfect seal, and the goggle performs great when it comes to keeping sweat out of your eyes. The 40mm wide woven goggle strap is affixed directly to the frame, and this actually allows for quicker, easier lens changes than the Prospect’s outrigger design. The Fury will accept a 50mm film system, as well as all of the same tear-off systems offered by Scott for the Prospect. We’ve ridden in the new Fury Goggle a couple of times since getting ahold of a pair at last weekend’s Monster Energy Cup, and we confidently give it two big thumbs up!

Chad Reed chose to race in the new Scott Fury this weekend because he loves the fit, protection, and performance.
