Monster Energy Kawasaki’s new recruit Joey Savatgy made quite a splash in his debut race at the Monster Energy Cup in October, and especially so when he “bobbled” while leading the last main event just bad enough to allow his teammate and million-dollar winner Eli Tomac past for a clean sweep. A rookie in the 450 class, Savatgy is talented and driven, and with trainer Johnny O’Mara by his side, he hopes to make a mark on the premier division in 2019.
