Swapmoto Race Series to Visit Lake Elsinore MX This Sunday!

The Swapmoto Race Series has grown to be the largest running series in Southern California. Mostly due to the amazing staff who keeps the program moving along with such organization that we can host 700+ signups in one day and finish the last moto and trophies by 4 pm or earlier. It’s a testament to the staff that has been running races, some of them for over 20 years. Our events just run smooth and it’s our main focus.
Increased contingency this season has also been a nice added bonus. For the El Dorado Series by AMSOIL / Dirt Bike Kids riders have the chance to win over a total of $55,000 from Kawasaki, Yamaha, KTM, and Husqvarna! In 2022 we are excited to try some new things that are meant to help the rider experience as we get bigger and we are excited to be working with some new tracks. This weekend is hosted by Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park and we are impressed with the crew over there and the passion they have for the sport and the riders. Some small changes will be made to the main track and they will be in place and ready for their weekly practice on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. For this first event, we will be racing on their Vet Track for all our Beginner/Starter classes. Check out the schedule below.

8-10:30 Open Bike Practice
10:30 – 10:50 Mini Only
Will alternate 20 minute sessions with mini and big bikes and water until 1pm
1pm – 1:20 50 and PW Practice
1:20-2pm Open Practice (no 50’s)
2pm-2:20 – 50 and PW Practice
2:20-3:40 – Open Practice (No 50’s)
3:40-4pm – 50 and PW Practice
MAIN TRACK
8-11 Open Bike Practice
10:10-10:30 Mini Only Practice
Will alternate 20 minute sessions with Mini and big bikes and watering until 1:30pm
1:30-1:50 65 & 50 Practice
1:50-2:30 Big Bike & 85 Practice
2:30-2:50 65 & 50 Practice
2:50-3:30 Big Bike & 85 Practice
3:30-4pm 65&50 Practice
We thank you for being polite to all the track workers especially with this un-usual schedule made to keep things safer in the busy event weekend. Cursing, yelling or ignoring required track splits will get you kicked out with no refund and you just never know you might piss off the wrong person who decides not to have a track any more. Let’s support and be thankful for this track being open.
STACYC GROMCROSS registration and check-in opens at noon. Same for Swapmoto signups. PeeWee Track closes at noon for setup.
GROMCROSS Practice is 1-2 pm, Racing is 2 pm – 4 pm, Spectators and riders over 5yrs old will pay $10, also good for Sunday.

Racing usually kicks off by about 9:30-9:45 am
We expect the majority of racing to be completed before the kickoff of the big game which is 3:30 pm
