Please explain the blue connector at the factory Helmets!

It’s the Eject device air bladder that goes between the energy-absorbing foam and the removable comfort liner of the helmet. It’s meant to reduce the risk of secondary neck or spine injuries when being tended to by medics. You attach a co2 cartridge to the blue connector and it fills the Eject device with air, which lifts the helmet off a racer’s head after the upper spine has been immobilized. It’s a mandatory thing at the pro level for all riders.
