Terra Firma at Glen Helen Raceway | AMSOIL Race Report

Round four of the 2020 AMSOIL Terra Firma series is officially in the books, as racing went off this past weekend at Glen Helen Raceway. Well over 500 racers filtered through the gates of Glen Helen Raceway and into the popular San Bernardino facility for a day of racing. The track crew had both tracks prepped to perfection and with beautiful, sunny weather in the forecast; round four was set to be another one for the books. As we near the Terra Firma series finale, taking place on November 1st at State Fair MX, we want to thank you all for making this possible in such crazy times. The 2020 Terra Firma series has held some of the largest turnouts in our memory and we are excited to keep that going with our upcoming Fall Classic triple crown series.

The fast guys came out to do battle at round four of the Terra Firma series, as each pro class was stacked with talent, leading to some exciting racing. As for the Pro 450F class, Jason Potter was the man to beat, as he took a break from spinning wrenches and building bikes to come out and lay down the fastest laps of the day at Glen Helen. As the dust settled, Jason swept the Pro 450F class with a 1-1 performance aboard his fresh KTM. On to the 30+ Pro class, Jason’s success continued in the first moto as he snagged another moto win, however, Kris Keefer ended up taking the second moto win and with that the overall. Thanks for the entertainment, boys!

We’ve talked about him before, and we are going to talk about him again. Enzo Temmerman came out to Glen Helen fresh off of an injury and worked the field on his KTM supermini. Not only did the youngster sweep the stacked Open 85-150F/Supermini class with a 1-1 performance, but he then went on to challenge the big bikes in both the School Boy and 125cc Open classes aboard his 85cc. After staying consistent in the School Boy (125/250F) class and making a few necessary passes, Enzo’s 1-2 results rewarded him with the overall class win. Enzo then flip-flopped those results in the 125cc Open class and went 2-1 for another overall class victory! We think it’s safe to say that Enzo’s slight injury didn’t slow him down a bit!
