The TransAm Vet Classic attracted “experienced” racers from across the country and we made a lot of new friends this year. One of our long-time friends, however, was on hand to race several classes over both days and also work the event for OGIO Powersports, one of the race sponsors. Pay Lopez has been a fixture on the SoCal moto scene for decades, and the Huntington Beach resident has held down a few different jobs in the motocross industry, starting with his advertising sales position at the now-defunct TransWorld Motocross.
