Ladies’ Choice: Honda CRF250R vs. CRF250RX

As we have for several years now, we invited a female motocrosser to join us during our 2023 250 Shootout to get a woman’s perspective. Kailey Skelton is a regular fixture at the moto tracks in SoCal and is also a professional downhill mountain bike racer, and this year she chose the Yamaha YZ250F as her favorite moto bike of the year. But that’s when we got another idea. Well, Honda’s Ryan Dudek did… All of the manufacturers struggled to get the suspension soft enough for Kailey, so Dudek wondered out loud if Honda’s CRF250RX off-road machine might have been a better option for her. After the shootout was wrapped, he proposed his idea to us and we agreed that it would be an interesting comparison. We gathered two more female motocrossers to join Skelton in our mini Honda shootout, Lacie Liska and Jessica Victorino, and headed to Glen Helen Raceway to see what they thought!
