2019 EAST RUTHERFORD SUPERCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

We always make time to watch the GoPro footage from each round of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series when it drops. There’s no better way for an average rider to learn the technique or get into the frame of mind that a top-tier racer has during a battle on the track and the video quality of the HERO7 Black is second to none. When we stand next to the track at the races, we’re always impressed by the little things that rider’s pick up on to clear obstacles or set up passes. But do racers that wear the cameras actually re-watch the footage after the race?

Ben LaMay has been one of the chosen few to wear the camera this year and yeah, the SmarTop/Bullfrog Spas/MotoConcepts/Honda rider gives each race an extra look. “The GoPro helps me review my racing by seeing my line selection and what I could have done to improve the future,” he shared. “It shows the fans how intense the racing can be at times.” The Hero7 was back atop LaMay’s FLY Racing lid at the 2019 East Rutherford Supercross and the camera company has uploaded the footage for us all to take in. And just for a good measure, we put the Seattle footage, too. Press play…
