THIS RACE SAVES LIVES | AUCTION SITE
Earlier this week in Kickstart we showcased a number of items from the 2019 Nashville that are part of the “This Race Saves Lives” event, which saw participation from nearly every rider and team in the pit area of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series. The auction for the event has begun and proceeds from the sales are going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a growing partner with Feld Entertainment. Up for grabs are plastics with graphics, autographed gear, and other items that were made for the race with input from the patients at St. Jude, and to no surprise, interest is high and the prices are worthy of a dedicated race fan’s checkbook (and a tax write-off).
In addition to the race-used parts, there are two hot ticket items that are sure to go for big bucks with the replica Ryan Dungey championship ring and a Bullfrog Spa. The Dungey ring is a notable piece that will be hard to replicate, while the spa includes a SmarTop cover.
