CHECK OUT OUR COMPLETE COVERAGE OF THE 2022 SAN DIEGO SUPERCROSS

The 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Championship continues its tour of California with the San Diego Supercross, round three of the season and the third of five events to run in the Golden State.

San Diego has always been a big city for Supercross, and this weekend will be the 39th race for the city in the sport’s history. Close enough to the Inland Empire MX epicenter, but just far enough away that it can be a “weekend trip,” this is one of the more fun weekends of the season. The move from Qualcomm Stadium to Petco Park in 2015 was a major change for the SDSX, as it added another baseball-diamond track layout to the schedule and put the action in the city’s Gaslamp Quarter.
