2023 LOS ANGELES SUPERMOTOCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

After a full year of racing, the inaugural SuperMotocross Championship comes to a close this evening at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with “winner take all” title fights in the 250 and 450 Classes.

Returning to the birthplace of Supercross for the first time since 1998 is monumental, and tonight will be the 25th time the gate has dropped at the hundred-year-old venue.

Two very different tracks at Charlotte and Joliet have everyone eager to get back to a standard SX layout with bowl turns and rhythm sections, but this is still very much a “hybrid circuit,” as the lanes are a little more flowing and not overly packed with obstacles.

Riders were getting into the flow of things during Friday’s Free Practice, with many telling us that the much slower pace of the track meant they never needed to click into fourth gear or higher.
