Round eleven of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship is officially underway in Seattle, Washington, as this morning’s timed qualifying sessions just wrapped up. Free practice was canceled due to heavy rains throughout the week, but riders took to the muddy course just a few moments ago for their two timed-qualifying sessions. Just hundredths of a second split the front-runners in both the 250SX West and 450SX classes. Here’s a look at the fastest qualifiers and some information on how their qualifying sessions went in Seattle!

Michael Mosiman is already turning heads during his return to racing, as the newly signed Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha rider laid down the fastest lap time of the morning. Michael’s 51.803 came from the first Group-B session of qualifying and held up against the rest of the fast laps.

Levi Kitchen was the next name on the time sheets, as the current 250SX West Championship points leader laid down a 52.798 in the first session of Group-A timed-qualifying. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider is looking confident at his home race.

Jo Shimoda seems to have made some improvements with the bike during the time off, as he came out swinging in timed-qualifying and landed the third fastest lap time. The Team Honda HRC rider logged a 52.881 in the final session of practice.

Jett Lawrence topped the charts again and claimed the fastest qualifier title in Seattle, Washington. The current 450SX red-plate holder laid down a 52.115 aboard his Team Honda HRC CRF450R and advanced past Eli Tomac on the leaderboard.

Eli Tomac was looking comfortable on the slippery, technical course in timed-qualifying. The Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha rider topped the charts in the first session of timed-qualifying, but ultimately landed in second place overall with a 52.325.

Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha teammate Cooper Webb rounded out the top-3 in 450SX timed qualifying. Webb logged a 52.352 late in the final session of practice to advance into third on the leaderboards.
