As we close in on our 8th year of running the Mini Major we are super excited to host this event at the World Famous Glen Helen Raceway!  We have a lot of fun planned and are excited to share with you the full schedule of events and activities.  Our focus is on providing a National level experience to riders of all skill levels. This means longer motos, finish line truss overhead, Acerbis track markers, monoliths, podiums and more!  Typically class structure for National events only offer racing for the fastest riders in the sport.  Not only that, we also understand each and every families total expenses.  That’s why we offer industry low entry fees, but also deep discounts for 2nd and 3rd classes, we have no membership required and we make sure that trophies and prizes are spread to as many of the racers as possible not just the top finishers.  Not to mention we put in a ton of effort to dressing up the track and making the event vibe all the way up! Don’t miss out on pre registration and save even more money per class PRE REGISTER HERE!

FULL SCHEDULE:

Thursday February 16th – Gates Open 8am – 8pm.  Thursday’s are popular for practice at Glen Helen Raceway and the track will be running its normal practice on their weekly layout with the exception that they will close practice early at 2:00 pm in order to prep the Mini Major layout.  Thursday is also the first day that you can pull in for overnight parking.  There will be no overnight parking before Thursday. If you reserved a PREMIUM SPOT these will all be marked clearly and you will be directed to your spot from the front gate.  If you have a large group or are planning on the GENERAL PARKING spots you will be able to take any space not already marked off for PREMIUM Reservations.  This practice will be open to the public so big bikes will be out on the track as well.  Normal practice fees will apply and this will not be the Mini Major layout but it will be some additional time on the famous Glen Helen dirt.

For all those who come out early we want to invite you out to our Welcome Party at the Museum!  Starting at 7pm we will have a live band called “Name Pending” that is featuring an all youth band and family of some of our racers.  As a special thank you we are going to hook up our first 200 attendees with dinner from Nick Nack BBQ.  They will be serving taco’s and nacho bowls.  Make sure you get out Thursday to set up camp and come by for dinner on us for night number one.  We look forward to hanging with everyone!

Friday February 17th –. Gates open 7am – 9pm. It’s practice day!  You made it to the Mini Major West by SEVEN | GEL BLASTER and this practice is for registered racers only.  Your Friday practice is FREE with your paid entry!  Come by registration starting at 9am for check in and all racers get a free event t-shirt.  This is the first time racers will get to ride the Mini Major layout and we are super excited to get as many of the classes as we can up Mt St Helen for this one of a kind event.  The modifications we are making to the track come from the experience of us being racers as well as having kids who are racing.  We are working with the staff at Glen Helen to move the turns before the big hills out a little so that riders will have a full run at them.  We tested the hills during the Triple Crown last year and we are stoked to have gotten even some 50 classes to the top!  It’s a great achievement and something unique they wont forget.  During practice we will have staff on the hill to help achieve these first runs at such a cool milestone in their riding.  For some classes who aren’t quite ready for Mt. St Helen we will have a go around that focuses on the flatter part of the Glen Helen layout.

***FINAL TRACK LAYOUT SUBJECT TO CHANGES – Update as of 2/14.23

Please remember to respect the rules of Glen Helen Raceway at all times.  We want Glen Helen to welcome us back for future events. Gel Blaster toys will only be allowed in the closed course area.  Pit bikes are not allowed as too many injuries and property damage have occurred.  Pit bikes will only be allowed during GROMCROSS on the PeeWee Track.  Helmets are required at all times.  There will be no riding in off track areas or exploring off site to the water park or other areas because of previous damage to property.  Remember our little racers need their sleep so please respect your neighbors and keep a reasonable quiet time each night.  Please bring large hefty bags for any trash you may have and leave at trash cans for pickup.  Glen Helen is a San Bernardino County Park and following the rules keeps them open for all of us to enjoy.  Security will be on site all weekend to insure that we all have a good time.
