Presented by Leatt
For this installment of Mod Squad, presented by Leatt, we decided to take a different approach. Rather than building our own project bike from scratch, we accepted an invitation to test-ride someone else’s build. Rob Healy is a long-time motocross industry personality who currently owns Powerlift, a brand that makes electric lift stands for dirt bikes. Healy has built up his 2023 Yamaha YZ450F to suit his tastes perfectly, from the engine to the suspension and from the rider controls to the aesthetic chi chis that give his bike that extra vet appeal.
If you had unlimited resources, what would you do to your bike to personalize it? For Rob Healy, this is the checklist he provided for his dream build…
