SmarTop/Bullfrog Spas/Honda rider Shane McElrath was one of a few highly regarded rookies moving up to the 450 Supercross class for 2021, but we only got to see him in action a few times. McElrath’s 450 debut was delayed by a separated shoulder that he suffered in the off-season, and when he did return to the races, his series was cut short by a bulging disc in his lower back. McElrath is always one of the best racers to sit down and chat with, and this installment of Leatt Science of Thrill Thursdays was no different.
