I finally got my cast off and my doctor gave me permission to return to “light” adventures. What does that mean? No jumping or slamming into bumps on my MTB, and no motocross until after Christmas. I didn’t make it public really, but I did some secondary damage to my thumb a couple of weeks after surgery because I rode with my handlebar-friendly cast. That said, I’ve been told to take it extra careful with the bone in my thumb until it is 100% healed. Anyway, a big thank you to Neil Storz at Can-Am, as he arranged for a cool ride along with Brian Deegan at the Glen Helen Nitrocross event last weekend! Deegan came on the SML Show a few days prior and we had a great time catching up on our 20+ year friendship….
